Solo show

During the exhibition Per Se, you will find a new hanging of the exhibition Reliefs de Guy de Malherbe in the large hall of the gallery until February 3.

The exhibition Reliefs will present a new set of paintings by Guy de Malherbe, who explores and develops under the name of Reliefs oyster shells, artichoke leaves or even some remains of lamb chops. These remnants of meals, which before becoming rubbish, still catch the eye with their colourful vibration. Subjects that echo the great Flemish tradition of the Vanities, and which are also a pretext for the pictorial research pursued by Guy de Malherbe for many years: gesture, colour, matter. The artist explores the beauty of the smallest things, like the leftovers of a meal…
