Waves

Known for her sometimes monumental works, Catherine François exhibits at the rue des Beaux-Arts gallery, a set of unpublished works under the title Waves: bronze castings, but also aluminum, resins colored in blue or transparent like water or even resins inserted in bronze.
Inspired by nature, the works of Catherine François tend towards abstraction while remaining strong, organic, familiar and sensual. Her sculptures convey the infinity of movement, whether the energies are balanced or not, just like life itself.
