Samuel Yal : « Melancholia » the Boghossian Fundation

Founded in 1992, the Boghossian Foundation is dedicated to training and education. For the eponymous family, who come from a line of jewellers who have successively lived in Armenia, Lebanon and Switzerland, the idea is more precisely to work on bringing cultures closer together between East and West. Directed since 2016 by Loumia Salamé, the foundation, which has taken possession of the Villa Empain in Brussels, is a place for encounters and discoveries.

Samuel Yal will be taking part in the Melancholia exhibition with his work Dissolution, a mosaic of suspended ceramic fragments suggesting the explosion of a face in the universe.
