Rachel Labastie – Les énergie de la terre à Keramis

off-site

Energy is at the heart of creation: from the entrails of the earth from which it is extracted to the ovens it ignites, retrace its journey.

Natural or transformed, stored or in motion, spectacular or invisible, energy is everywhere. Energy, which first refers to a set of physical phenomena and then their use in a set of scientific applications, is now synonymous with geopolitical, economic, environmental and social issues.

Inseparable from artistic activity in general, energy is present at all stages of the creation of a ceramic. This heritage exhibition with a strong emphasis on contemporary creation brings art and science closer together. Created by the Musée national Adrien Dubouché in Limoges, it is adapted to the cultural and social context of Louvières.
