ILLÉS SARKANTYU : DOMAINE DE KERGUÉHENNEC

Between 1995 and 2000, Jean-Pierre Vielfaure (1930-2015) was a regular resident at the Domaine de Kerguéhennec.

In a series of notebooks (photos, collages, drawings and annotations), he gathered together a memory of the place in the effervescence of its artistic activity and traces of its historical and architectural past before the restoration work.

Illés Sarkantyu offers an interpretation of these notebooks in a new form, continuing his own work of ‘collecting’ the history of the estate.
